The attack lands a critical hit and the dragon is grievously wounded. You use this opportunity to follow up and rush the dragon and dispatch it before it gets a chance to counter. After defeating the dragon it starts to disappear with its dying roar and a door opens on the far end of the room with a treasure chest inside it.
